IP09C is an IP extender that can use a single coaxial cable to send TCP/IP signals to a remote IP-enabled device, with a transmission distance of up to 800M and bandwidth of up to 100Mbps. Furthermore, since IP09C can send IP signals over coaxial cables, you can change your old analog cameras to IP cameras without replacing the existing coaxial cables, which saves much labor and cost.

Ethernet Extender That Makes the Most of Your Coaxial Cables

The ethernet over Coax technique is used to transmit IP signals over coaxial cables.

Make the Existing Coaxial Cables Useful in IP Environment

What is Ethernet over Coax? Why You Should Use an IP/PoE over Coax Extender

Ethernet over coax is the technology that supports the transmission of Ethernet via coaxial cables. PoE over Coax is the technology to transmit power and data simultaneously over a coaxial cable. The development of these techniques helps installers to send IP/PoE signals in an easier, faster, and cost-effective way without the need to replace the existing coaxial cables.

IP09C, IP09CP

While coaxial cables cover everywhere, you can take advantage of them to transmit IP/PoE signals, and SC&T's IP09C series is the easiest way for you to achieve this goal. This series includes IP09C (EoC version) and IP09CP (PoC version) and supports up to 100Mbps and up to 90W of power over up to 800m cable run.

Transmission Performance

Ethernet over Coax extender transmission performance.

Power may vary by the transmission distances and cable types, such as RG59/ RG6U.

  • Within 500m, bandwidth remains 100Mbps (power from Rx)
  • Over 500m, bandwidth remains 10Mbps (power from Rx)

Ethernet over Coax Models

IP09C is the non-PoE Ethernet Extender over Coax. You can choose the most suitable model, IP or PoE version, for your project in the IP09C series.
