Can HDMI AV and IR signals be input directly into an HDBaseT-supported display?
Yes. If the display (e.g., projector or monitor) supports standard HDBaseT input, it can connect directly via a single network cable. For IR transmission, manually set the transmitter's hardware switch to match the signal direction.
Can the HE02EI be mixed with third-party HDBaseT equipment?
Not recommended. Cross-brand circuits and IR pinouts vary; paired deployment of SC&T devices is recommended. However, as HE02EI complies with standard HDBaseT protocols, the Tx can be used independently if the display features an integrated HDBaseT input (HDBaseT in).
Which type of network cable is recommended?
4K@30Hz requires a 10.2Gbps bandwidth; CAT6a or higher cabling is recommended for optimal transmission and EMI resistance. For qualified brands, check the HDBaseT Alliance official website for certified options.
